Learn German: Language Course App Reviews

The audio recording always fails when we change the level in the premium version. It wont even record anything. It fails when we press to record. I bought the version to use in other 4 accounts and the same is happening with my partners app.

Please fix problem with permanent application crashing. I paid for full version, but application is almost unusable. Very unsatisfied.

I love the app, but the new update is crashing on my iPad pretty often.

I kept getting asked to buy the app for $16.99, I had completed the limited vocabulary and had expected a lot more information for the price of the "whole" app. But nothing. I spend the total of $16.99 and all I can do is very elementary vocabulary ! Still wont teach the alphabet or numbers. I know how to say hello, red and white wine, how to order coffee and who is a mother or father, a few more vocal with those but seems extremely limited for that amount of money!

Whats happened with this new update.? Everything is white and I cant see anything. I have German learning version. It was very nice before this update.!

The way this app teaches you German is great. Its not boring but it repeats enough for it to sink in. However it is very difficult to navigate and entirely unclear why some lessons are available and others arent and the daily free lessons are brief. I would not recommend unless you are ready to spend a lot of money upgrading at every step.

The learning part is very good except for certain words where the definition is not what is implied in the sentence and therefore the definition itself for a new word would be unusable and confusing. The second problem I have is the LACK OF LANDSCAPE VIEW! I mean SERIOUSLY??!! Its 2016! People use iPads for these apps! Its utterly unusable on an iPad!

This app is OK for language learning (at least basic conversational items for travel). BUT they get you to agree to recurring monthly subscription at $9.99, which is very complicated to turn off. Uninstalling the app will not discontinue. There is nowhere within the app to make a subscription change. It has to be done through the App Store. By the time you figure it out, you could have purchased a far better language program for money you put out. I prefer companies to stand by a superior product rather than tricky billing for their revenue. No more Mondly for me!

This app is amazing

It´s a great app to learn the basics of german but when youre pronoucing the words in german,no matter what you say, it will say "good".

I like that it walks you through most but not all of each word

I believe that mondly is the most powerful and user friendly language practice tool among the mobile language applications I have used.

Hangs on when buying full version
